New York-based Delos Insurance Company is one of the top program insurers in the United States. When Delos heard that the supplier of their Document Management System, QKnow, had filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection the search was on for a replacement system.

Delos conducted a thorough selection procedure and looked at offerings from a variety of suppliers including Oracle Universal Content Management and EMC Documentum. At the end of quite a lengthy process, Delos selected KnowledgeCenter as its new supplier for Document Management.

Announcing this decision, Delos CTO Eugene Vatnik said:

“We believe that KCenter is a good fit to Delos Insurance business processes and your company can provide the superior support and service that we are looking from a software vendor. We liked the demonstrated system functionality, streamlined design and overall ethics of your staff.”

Kcenter’s ability to control documents and processes within the context of a Project was a feature of particular interest to Delos, as was the overall ease and speed of configuration of the software.
